Reception

Our reception will be held at the Edison Club, a member-owned country club founded more than 100 years ago by engineers at the nearby General Electric plant. The club occupies 300 acres of land overlooking the Mohawk River in Rexford, New York (about 30 minutes’ drive from Christ the King where our ceremony is being held).

The reception will begin at 4:00 PM with an hour-long cocktail reception. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will be held outside on the club’s terrace overlooking the golf course.

Following cocktails, the reception will move indoors for dinner and dancing, with entertainment provided by Chris Bigelow of Cloud Nine Productions. Chris is also the host of one of our regular social activities, a trivia night at the World War II Club in Northampton, Massachusetts (where we constitute two-fifths of the record-holding trivia team “The Plundercats”); so, Chris’s participation is a way to bring some of our life in Northampton into our special day. Of course, he’s a great DJ in his own right, too!

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding day with each and every one of you. While we feel that your presence is gift enough, we have created a registry for those of you who would like to use one. We are registered at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Macy’s.
