Guest post on A Practical Wedding!

I was so excited to be asked by Meg at A Practical Wedding to write a "Wedding Graduate" guest post. It's up today-- check it out. I think I could have saved myself a few headaches had Meg been on the scene earlier in our wedding planning! Her blog brings us all back down to earth, whether you're overly excited about napkins, stressed about invitations, hung up on menu decisions, worried that your photographer hasn't had their work been featured in Vogue, or just overwhelmed by it all. Meg's blog is a reminder about what's really important: the marriage. And besides being so wise, the girl is sassy and witty. Hers is one of the few wedding blogs that wasn't purged from my Google Reader in my post-wedding detox!

So, click on over there to learn all about our truly disastrous cake and how it  impacted our wedding day. Here's a little preview:

The crack is lovely, but the cardboard showing is a bonus...
